Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao Jr. is an Indian film actor, Kuchipudi dancer, playback singer and television personality. He is widely known as Jr. NTR or Tarak and mainly appears in Telugu cinema. He has received numerous awards and accolades, including two Filmfare Awards, four CineMAA Awards and a Nandi Awards. He is the brand ambassador for Malabar Gold, Himani Navratna Hair Oil & talc powder, Boro Plus Powder and Zandu Balm in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Jr. NTR was born on 20 May 1983 in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India to Nandamuri Harikrishna and Shalini Bhaskar Rao. His father is a Telugu film actor and politician and his grandfather, N. T. Rama Rao, is a Telugu actor and former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. He has a half-brother, Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, who is a actor and producer. He studied at Vidyaranya High School, Hyderabad. Then he attended at St. Mary's College, Hyderabad and completed his Intermediate education from there.

N. T. Rama Rao Jr. made his debut in the film industry as a child actor, with the film Brahmashri Vishwamitra in 1991, which directed by his paternal grandfather, N. T. Rama Rao. Then he acted in the National Award winning film Ramayanam (1996) as a child actor. Jr. NTR made his lead role debut in 2001 with the romantic drama film Ninnu Choodalani, opposite Raveena Rajput. Then he acted many commercial successful films such as Aadi (2002), Rakhi (2006), Yamadonga (2007), Kantri (2008), Brindavanam (2010), Temper (2015), Nannaku Prematho (2016) and many more.

NT Rama Rao Jr. married to Narne Lakshmi Pranathi on 5 May 2011 at Hitex Exhibition Center, Madhapur. The couple has a son named Abhay Ram.
