Amy Jackson is an Indian film actress and British model, who predominantly appears in Tamil movies. She was born on 31 January 1992 in Douglas, Isle of Man. She is the daughter of Alan Jackson and Marguerita Jackson. Her father is a BBC Radio Merseyside's producer. She has an elder sister named Alicia Jackson. She attended St Edward's College, where she studied English Literature, Philosophy and Ethics. She has participated in the Miss England competition in 2010 but lost out to Jessica Linley in the final.

Amy Jackson started her modelling career in 2009 by winning the Miss Teen World competition and the Miss Liverpool title in 2010. She has made her acting debut in 2010 with the Tamil drama Madharasapattinam. She made her Bollywood debut in a romantic flick Ekk Deewana Tha in 2012. The same year, she acted in the superhit Tamil film Thaandavam as a supporting role. Her first Telugu film was Yevadu in 2014.
